These books are perfect for those who want to empower children with Asthma, Diabetes or Heart conditions. This year Dream publishing has worked with community service groups to help raise monies for their specific cause. In one case, Sillwee Wobbert's third book assisted a local Civic Club that was affiliated with a diabetes camp by doing two things. First, the books were sold on behalf of this mission and proceeds were distributed to the camp. Second, members donated copies of the books for camper's personal use. In another situation, a local Asthma Walk Association utilized the books for both publicity of the event by placing their information in the books like advertisement and handed them throughout the community as well as having their kids sell the books as a fundraising activity.
Fundraising - How It Works:
- Members or Staff Sell Sillwee Wobbert books as fundraising
items where the proceeds (approximately 40-50%) are contributed
to the fundraising cause.
- We act solely as facilitator of the
books.
- The prospective parent, child, customer will receive
books from publisher and receive a letter of acknowledgement
from the local fundraiser for this contribution.
Donations - How it works:
Children's Hospitals, Schools or Health Camps are a great place
to donate copies for pediatric use. Health camps
have given the books to its kids as goodie bag treats or prizes
and awards for positive challenges met at camp over the summer.
- An individual or company can purchase a certain amount of books to give to a hospitals' child life dept. auxiliary or pediatric unit.
- Dream publishing facilitates the delivery of the books and provides the necessary coordination for this charitable tax deduction on one's tax returns.
- The hospital in turn supplies the letter of recognition.
It's that simple and you know exactly where your money is going... specifically touching a child's life forever. Please refer this website to someone who would benefit from these stories or who would like to help us accomplish this dream.
